Kati Basti is a traditional Ayurvedic external therapy in which warm medicated oil is retained over the lower-back region using a specially formed boundary.
It is used as part of selected Ayurvedic protocols for certain musculoskeletal complaints.
It isn't appropriate for every type of back pain.
An Ayurvedic consultation should come before selecting the therapy.
